MODERN INTIMATE WEDDING IN LONDON
Jeanne + Tom
Who’d imagine that a pandemic could change lives forever? But this intimate wedding held last October proves that the love is still on and fire!
Joanne & Tom have chosen to tie the knot at Marylebone Town Hall and have dinner with their more close friends and family at The Ivy in the coven garden. This gorgeous bride is from Canada and like a lot of couples are living this drama her family could not come to London for their wedding, so they made a Zoom call and the guest have so much fun on this!
The ceremony was very intimate, they read their own vows it was very personal and full of emotions.
After the ceremony, we walked on London streets for portraits, even the cold and rain didn’t dump the day.
While there was a focus on beautiful portraits, there was also a focus on photojournalistic images in one of my favourite areas London.
After our street photography session, we went to The Ivy restaurant in Coven Garden to meet with the other guest to make toasts and speeches.
Tom made some cool speeches about when they’ve met and Joanne was doing a call with her parents, thanks to technology that is on our side in times like this.
Intimate Covid Wedding
Getting married during the corona crisis can be a challenging feat.
An intimate wedding is perfect for couples that don’t worry about postponements and only have fun.
This adventurous couple didn’t want to wait for the end of the pandemic to celebrate their love, they made the best of the day and had so much fun! They got in touch with me only one month before their date saying that they want someone laid back to register this special day, so I loved being part.
