Have you ever been to a Lake Garda wedding?
It is an amazing place in northern Italy, a traditional romantic setting, and ideal for a wedding. In fact, there are many restaurants and “Villas” that specialize in the subject. Today I’m going to share with you my experience photographing a Lake Garda wedding, that, for me, was really much more than “just” photographing abroad. I could be there not only as a professional but as a friend too, which enriched my experience even more!
Emanuelly, “Manu” for me, the bride, is my friend’s daughter and also a big friend of mine! A big Milanese friend that we have in common introduced us. Amazing, isn’t it? Could you imagine yourselves being responsible to eternalize your friend’s biggest day? What an honour! Truly. I adore them both, mother and daughter, and was absolutely a pleasure to share this day with them and Gianluca.
Italy is basically my second home, a place where I feel comfortable and that I love! Not only the food (I’m a pasta lover!) but the Italian atmosphere, the scenery, colours, everything! To photograph a Lake Garda wedding was a dream. Not the traditional summer festivities, it was the first week of October and the autumn colours invaded! Making it an even more beautiful day at the lake.
Manu and Gianluca had been together for 2 years when they decided to make it official. A small ceremony just family and some really close friends. They got married at the town hall and, from there, we went to a restaurant for lunch. It was really a lovely family event!
I wish them many more beautiful days, lots of warm sunny moments at the lake and a beautiful journey together! Hopefully, I’ll be back to Italy to share more amazing moments with this so loved family!
Thanks for the experience! It is always a pleasure to go to Italy and in this case, was even more special!

Amazing wedding photography! You have a good eye for capturing the right moments and emotions. Also, excellent compositions and use of light. Well done!
Very intimate and charming ceremony. Indeed, one of your best wedding shoots. Looking forward to see the wedding party (part ll) which will take place in the September.
Thanks Gi! bjus
