I’m Carine, a passionate fun professional wedding photographer in London.
When I’m not photographing weddings, I love hanging out with my two dogs and travelling the world with my Dutch boyfriend. London is my second favourite place in the world – after my home country of Brazil of course (no one makes a caipirinha as we do!).
Photography is more than a job, it’s a lifestyle for me. It suits my creative drive and adventurous spirit. Years ago, I pushed aside the comforts of a corporate job, moved across the world and – armed only with my camera and a committed heart – starting photographing people in love.
I’ve always had a passion for photography and the world around me. I’ve travelled the world with my camera and a curious mind, learning people’s stories and capturing their lives. And within each wedding, there is a beautiful story to be told. It’s a story of joy and happiness, and I always feel privileged to be a part of capturing these stories.
I’ve won two amazing awards – a This Is Reportage Award for my documentary wedding photography and a Masters of Wedding Photography Award. These make me feel fantastic – but it’s seeing my couples’ reactions to their photos that I really do this for.
I’m originally from Brazil: land of samba, colours, contrasts and the magic of creation. I like to think my photography epitomises the Brazilian attitude, full of energy and colour and love. Most of my weddings are a fusion of cultures – and I love being able to flex my lingual muscles at weddings and chat to grandmas in Italian, or uncles in Spanish.
