I’m Carine Bea, professional wedding photographer. Worked many many years in a different area until I finally understand that only photography would satisfied me as a professional. And it is not easy to change your life completely, but there I was eagerly to fulfill myself as a professional. From a dusty road on Florianópolis to a towering cathedral in London, everywhere is home to me! Yeah, you got it right: I came from a far far distant place: land of samba, colors, contrasts, from the joy of living, land of the magic of creation. All these characteristics surrounded my whole life and I bring it to my photography.
I love people, places, culture and the unique moments they create when coming together. Through the lens of my camera and with a smile on my face, I happily capture them! People’s joy just takes me over and in each wedding I find a beautiful story to be told. I am always thankful to the privilege of connecting with these wonderful people with special feelings. Documenting all through my photographs.
For years, I’ve been consumed by a passion for photography and the world around me. Earned streets on my trips and adventures, loving every single place I had the pleasure to go. But it was here in London that all this energy made sense. I cannot tell that I gave up everything for photography, but –instead — I won it all because of it. Won stories to tell, places to meet, moments to register, won new friends, won Love every single day. Who could be more lucky in this world than a wedding photographer? Living each day based on the happiest day on someone’s life?!
Photography is such a lifestyle for me that I always carry my little Fuji or just my phone to capture the unique moments when I’m “off duty”. Practising and improving every single moment. Allowing this creative drive and adventurous spirit to work within me, I pushed aside the comforts of a corporate job, moved across the world and– armed only with my camera and a committed heart– offer professional photography with a relaxed, natural and elegant photojournalist style.
To provide that I like to inspire myself on other arts and other field’s photographers such like the amazing and colourful Martin Parr’s work, Zack Arias, Alex Webb and Matt Stuart just to name a few! If you check their work you will see a deep connection to street photography, colours and composition that I do like to bring to my photography.
As the cherry on top I love indie rock, caipirinha, chocolate and to always leave the best part for the last bite!
You will also probably notice my accent when you call me and maybe a lack of right vocabulary, but we are working to improve it! (The best language I speak is Photography)
